Our History

Community Bank Consulting Services, Inc. was founded in 1995 because of a desire to assist community banks to improve their profitability, productivity, quality control and customer service.

Our clients are community banks with assets between $20 million and $2 billion.  We have been permitted to assist over 500 banks in 20 states since 1995.  While most of our clients are located in the upper Midwest, we always welcome the opportunity to assist new clients in additional states.

Some of our clients have worked with our founder, Lynn David, in a consulting capacity for over 20 years.  With some clients, we are now working with the second and third generation of members of family-owned banks.

We always appreciate the opportunity to give presentations to bankers and bank directors to help to train them to become more effective in working with their bank’s customers and employees.

We believe bank employees with positive attitudes help to produce satisfied bank customers, lower bank employee turnover, lower a bank's customer turnover and enhanced bank profitability.

We do little formal advertising of our consulting services.  Our existing clients are our best source of referrals and new clients.  Since we focus on always exceeding the expectations of our clients, we assist with an average of four projects per client.
