Harassment and Hostile Work Environments

Issues of harassment and hostile work environment can have a very negative impact on the internal morale and the external perception of an organization.  Periodic training will also potentially decrease an organization's liability.

Session Objectives:

  • Define sexual harassment and offensive behaviors that can be considered harassment.

  • Legal background

  • Identify each type of harassment.

  • Identify hostile environment.

  • Prevent harassment from happening.

  • How to deal with sexual harassment.

  • Stop sexual harassment if it does occur.

  • Steps for handling a complaint.

Each participant is provided with a workbook for note taking and to keep for future reference.  The employees will also learn through group discussion, workbook exercises and role playing.
